OVERVIEW:
Jefferson Foundation is a private charitable foundation based in Festus, MO which provides grants to health-focused nonprofit organizations that are based in (or serve) the Jefferson County, MO area. Since their first round of grants in 2015, the organization has awarded a total of over $50 million.
Tech Electronics previously provided network and desktop IT infrastructure to Jefferson Foundation in 2013, and maintained a positive relationship in subsequent years. After experiencing downtime and other difficulties due to a ransomware attack, Jefferson Foundation was looking to expand their relationship with a capable managed IT services provider who could not only assist in keeping their network running at full capacity, but also in helping to protect their data.
SOLUTION:
Tech Electronics now provides Jefferson Foundation with our Optimal FX managed IT services, including proactive network monitoring, secure backups, and remediation of any identified issues.

Tech monitors Jefferson Foundation’s network and IT hardware including switching, firewall, wireless access points, desktops and more, managing risk and ensuring peak performance. Tech provides Jefferson Foundation with daily updates on backups, as well as system patches and security updates. In the event of critical system issues, Tech receives alerts and intervenes to prevent downtime.
In addition, Tech provides Firewall as a Service, which includes the firewall appliance, security services, proactive monitoring, firmware updates, backups, and any move/add/changes, all for an affordable monthly subscription.
